About the Principal:
Dr. Mark Davis is founder and principal of Genesis Leadership Group, LLC. Genesis provides consulting and training in strategic planning, organizational vision, leadership development, and business support. Genesis was formed with the purpose of assisting organizations pursuing transformation, vision, and growth.
The Genesis Leadership Group was organized in 2008, following previous consulting and business assistance. The "Group" approach provides clients with access to multiple consultants with an expanded knowledge-base and specialized experience.
Dr. Davis serves as a Department Chairman in the Paul R. Carter College of Business Administration at Harding University. He teaches Graduate and Undergraduate courses in business, negotiations, and conflict management.
As a retired U.S. Air Force officer, his professional career includes extensive experience in project management, contract management, and negotiations. He has managed extensive projects--ranging from construction to the development and acquisition of advanced government weapon systems. He worked with industry leaders in aerospace and major corporations.
Dr. Davis is a Certified Myers-Briggs Practitioner and is qualified to administer a variety of psychometric and organizational assessments. He has significant research training and teaches university research courses. Additionally, he is an Arkansas State trained mediator in Civil and Domestic Mediation.
He has an understanding of church and non-profit operations. Dr. Davis has served with congregations of all sizes. He currently serves as a church leader and elder in a congregation with 1,500 members.
Dr. Davis holds an earned Doctor of Business Administration (D.B.A.) degree, a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Human Resource Management, and a Bachelor Degree in Business and Technology. He holds a second Bachelor Degree in Religion.
